Everyone's wedding is different but as a photographer it's my job to capture your day whatever your plans. There is a lot to think about when planning a wedding but there are a few key points when it comes to the photography that I always make people aware off to make sure we can get the best images possible.
COVID 19 Guidence
What happens if we need to re-arrange due to COVID-19?
Obviously things are a bit unpredictable at the moment but if you need to re-arrange due to COVID-19 there will be no additional charges and I will be as flexible as possible to accommodate your next preffered date. You can view the Current Guidence on weddings here.
Do we get photos of the ceremony?
You would think there would be a consistent approach across venues but it does differ a lot. I have even been made to wait outside some churches while the ceremony was taking place. Having said that most registry offices and churches will allow you to take some photos at key points during the service and some will allow photography all the way through as long as it doesn't disturb the ceremony. With this in mind it's best to check with the venue beforehand to see what photography is allowed and when.
How long do we need for group shots?
For the traditional group and family photos I normally recommend leaving 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the size of the wedding. This is normally plenty of time to capture all the group shots and the photos of the couple at the most photogenic locations around the venue. I have a standard list of group shots which I email out beforehand and you can amend it to fit in with what you want. This way I have a list of all the shots you want on the day.
Can you take photos like this?
I always encourage couples to provide a few examples of the sorts of shots they would like and I will always try to create what you are looking for, however all photographers have different styles so if you have a specific look in mind for your photos then it's probably best to find a photographer with that style.
Do we get photos of all the guests?
I always make it a point to try and photograph every guest more than once. However this isn't always possible if you have a guests who are particularly camera shy but I will always do my best to capture everyone.
Are you insured?
Yes I am fully insured with public liability and professional indemnity.
How long after the wedding do we receive out photos?
I always aim to have them ready to deliver in 14 days or when you return from your honeymoon but this can take a bit longer during the peak of wedding season.
How many images do we get?
Depending which package you have chosen you would get between 100 & 400 images. Sometimes more.
How do we view the photos?
You will receive a USB with the images in hi-res format. The images will also be available on a password protected online gallery for your friends and family to view.
Can you provide a wedding album?
Yes I can design and print a full wedding album from standard coffee table books to full traditional leather albums. These can be added to the wedding package or ordered at a later date.
