Icicles In East Yorkshire

This weeks weather has certainly kept things interesting. Driving into town today I noticed this incredible ice formation on the lock gates along the Driffield canal and I had to go back home and get my camera. The freezing Siberian winds had blown all the spray from the water back onto the lock creating these impressive icicles. It felt more like Iceland or Norway than the Yorkshire Wolds.
